Tolerance All monobloc reamers are ground to the requested diameter and set in the middle of the hole tolerance ready for use.

Adjustment The adjustment must be made to compensate for wear to the cuƫng edges when the size reaches its lower tolerance. This operaƟon can be repeated several Ɵmes unƟl the surface finish of the hole deteriorates to an unacceptable level. Then the reamer must be reground. The maximum expansion is about 1% of the diameter.
